Dr. Fara T. Afshar, DDS
Initially interested in a career in the medical sciences, Dr. Fara graduated from California State University at Fullerton in 2000 with honors from the Department of Biochemistry. After volunteering at local hospitals and private practices throughout Southern California, she decided a career in dentistry was her calling. Her first career in dentistry was as a front office receptionist, which later led to management of the practice. In the fall of 2007, Dr. Fara gave birth to her only child. Ironically, she received notification of her acceptance to the Class of 2011 from the University of the Pacific two months later. After serious deliberation and soul searching, Dr. Fara realized that she had the fortitude to accept both challenges head-on and complete her dental education successfully while also raising her son. Dr. Fara graduated from dental school in the spring of 2011 and has been practicing ever since. She possesses superior technical skills and, with the guidance of cosmetic seminars and residencies, she continues to provide transcendent dental care.

Such an amazing office with the nicest staff that are like a family and when you walk in, they make you feel part of the family. The office was super clean, and everyone was vaccinated, professional, and friendly. Dr. Fara knows her craft thoroughly well. She is patience personified. She is highly knowledgeable, very gentle, takes time to put the patient at ease, and keeps you informed as she works on your teeth. I had 3 teeth worked on in during this visit, including two temporary crowns. I left very happy with the attention and care that I received from Dr. Fara and her two great assistants Anita and Bianca. I would not go anywhere else after coming here. The first thing I've noticed was the beautiful decor. It feels like you are in a hollywood/chic dental office, yet the people are all down to earth. Everyone (front desk, assistants, hygienist, dentist...etc) I've met or come in contact here are extremely nice and helpful! I love the positive energy! I also enjoy the education and explanations. I am always curious so I ask a lot of questions about each procedure, and the tools, and techniques etc... They have been more than willing to answer my questions and educate me on what's going on. I absolutely love that!
